Peptides for Libido: PT-141, Kisspeptin, and More
Two compounds with real data, and a lot of thinner claims after them.
The quick version
- PT-141 (FDA approved) and kisspeptin have the real data.
- These work in the brain, not on blood flow like ED pills.
- Start PT-141 low; nausea is the main cost.
The goal
The goal is more sexual desire, which is a brain thing more than a blood-flow thing for these compounds. That is different from ED pills.
What people actually run
The two with the best data are PT-141, which is FDA approved as Vyleesi, and kisspeptin, which has real human trials. People sometimes add others, but the evidence drops off fast after these two.
How it is structured
PT-141 is used as needed before sex, not daily, starting low to test for nausea. Kisspeptin is mostly clinic-based in trials, so at-home use is premature. The plan is less is more, especially with PT-141 nausea.
What is actually supported
PT-141 improved desire in two trials of over 1200 women (FDA label, 2019), and kisspeptin raised arousal in controlled studies of men and women (Imperial trials). These two are the evidence-backed picks here.
The common mistake
The mistake is a big PT-141 dose right before a date. Too much just brings nausea. A small test dose on a low-stakes day is the smarter move.
Bottom line
For libido, PT-141 and kisspeptin have the real data, and PT-141 is the practical one. Start small and respect the nausea.

Reminder: I am not a doctor and this is not medical advice. It is my own notes and reading of the research. Peptides sit in a legal grey area, research-grade is a real category, and it is on you to verify your own compliance. Talk to a qualified professional before you start anything, especially if you take other medication.
